Below you will find the basic shop policies for Moonlit Dye Works. These may be adjusted as my shop grows, but this page will always reflect the most up-to-date and accurate information.

Processing Times

All items are hand-dyed in small batches. Current processing times are:

  • Ready-to-Ship Items: 3–5 business days
  • Dyed-to-Order Items: 2–3 weeks

I will always message you if there is an unexpected delay.

Shipping

Shipping is handled through USPS unless otherwise stated.

  • Domestic orders: Tracking included
  • International orders: Times vary based on destination

Once the package is in USPS hands, delays are outside of my control — but I will always help you locate your order if something goes wrong.

Returns & Exchanges

Because of the nature of hand-dyed products:

  • Returns are limited to 30 days after purchase with receipt. Must be unused and still have original packaging. Certain items may be ineligible for returns such as custom made products.
  • Customers are responsible for return package shipping.
  • If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact me within 5 days of delivery with photos, and I will make it right.

Cancellations

Cancellations are accepted within 24 hours of purchase on ready-to-ship items.
No cancellations on dyed-to-order items once the dyeing process has begun.

Custom Orders

If you’re interested in custom colorways or special batches:

  • Custom orders are accepted when my schedule allows
  • A non-refundable deposit may be required
  • I will send photos throughout the process before finalizing your order

Color Variation Disclaimer

Hand-dyed fabric will always have natural variation.

What you see in photos may differ slightly from what arrives due to:

  • Monitor differences
  • Batch variation
  • Dye behavior

If consistency is critical for your project, please message me before purchasing.

Your information is never shared or sold.

Information is used only for:

  • Processing your order
  • Contacting you about shipping or issues
  • Newsletter (only if you sign up)
